Dividend cannot be anticipated so no accrual. Pre acquisition - reduce from cost. MOst questions are repetitive formats, do not spend too much time

In this question the amount of abnormal loss includes invoice price i.e we multiply by 100 and divide by 10 But abnormal loss is always consider on cost and not on invoice price So, in this example why we have taken abnormal loss at invoice price?
