BRS

The bank has wrongly reduced the balance of A.Philip's A/c for a cheque drawn by B.Philip. So In the passbook balance in A.philip a/c will be 27000 less than that in his cashbook. In order to reconcile in BRS 27000 should be reduced from balance as per cashbook to arrive at balance as per passbook. Hope that helps.
