Please explain how to answer these questions. They are confusing

Generally to make effective sentences you have to keep them simple; use subjects and verbs to state the key actors and actions clearly; avoid passive voice; start with the main idea and then add modifiers to explain or illustrate it. Answers: (a) Now that my children are all employed, I have no financial difficulties. (b) My sister, a nutritionist at the University of Michigan, recommends daily megadoses of Vitamin C. (c) We hope for an appropriate tribute to Professor Espinoza. (d) Honest and hard working, Joe was never idle.
