Enterprise DBMS products (Oracle, IBM) process large organizational and workgroup databases and supports many (possibly even thousands) of users as well as many different database applications. , whereas personal DBMS (Microsoft Access) are designed for smaller, simpler database applications and used for small work-group, or personal applications that involve fewer than 100 users, normally fewer than 15.
