RED = 6720 (given) According to the alphabetical order, R stands in the 18th place, E in 5th and D in 4th respectively .When you add 2 to all the places you get R - 20 E -7 and D - 6 and invert the order you get 6720 . Like wise G stands in 7th place - 9(+2) R on 18 - 20(+2) E on 5 - 7(+2) N on 14 - 16(+2) invert the order you get 1677209 Hope you find my ans useful
