in relation to another company, means a company in which that other company has a significant influence, but which is not a subsidiary company of the company having such influence and includes a joint venture company. In such topic joint venture is necessary or not?

Definition states that associate company shall include joint venture company. Joint venture is not necessary for being an associate company. It has to satisfy the criteria mentioned

Not sure, what exactly your question is here. Say Company XYZ is a joint venture between company A and company B. Then XYZ will be associate company for company A and company B. Now, if say company A holds 60% shares of such company. Then XYZ becomes subsidiary company of company A, so it won't be associate company. For company B, it will be associate company.
