Whether additional depreciation is allowed for newly installed computer and explain for what other blocks are entitled to additional depreciation??

Additional depreciation is not allowed in respect of machinery which is installed in any office premises. So, newly installed computer if installed in office will not get additional depreciation. Additional depreciation will be given for new plant and machinery acquired by an assessee who is engaged in the business of manufacture or production of any article or thing.

Yes. If it installed for manufacturing unit, then additional depreciation will be allowed.
