Yes we can depriciate fixed assets. The only exception is land, which is not depreciated

Yes you can depreciate all the fixed assets like machinery, buliding, plants etc.. I think in case of land we cannot depreciate it as using of land doesn't decrease its value but I'm guessing the land value sometimes may increase or decrease ( may decrease in some exceptional cases)
