Sir how will the attempts be counted for Direct Entry Scheme Students for those who wish to write group 1 in Jul 2020 and group 2 in May 2021?

Each time you appear for an exam, it is counted as an attempt. For CA Inter - attempts matter less unless you are targeting a Big4. You can also indicate that you cleared Group 1 in first attempt in May and Group 2 in first attempt in November. Do not worry about attempts etc [especially in the time of a pandemic]
