Docket in general is a brief written summary of a document A petty cash book is also maintained showing all the petty expenses sorted by date. Petty cash docket is a summary document showing all petty expenses list. In an imprest system the amount (petty cash ) requested is documented through the petty cash dockets and their associated receipts or invoices.
