Santosh palMam, how do we identify when an advertisement is a general offer or invitation to offer?what will be the key difference between both of them? Can you please explain with some examples
Advertisements are always invitation to offer except when they are making a claim which people can act upon. Just like in the case of Carlill vs. Carbolic Smoka Ball Co. For more examples please refer to the video no. 38 on General offer. Also do not always connect advertisements to general offer.

Advertisement is an invitation to offer and not an absolute offer. However, in certain situations an advertisement may be in the form of a general offer. But in general sense, advertisements are invitation to offer.
