The question says "Y introduced Rs.30,000 and increases it Rs.40,000". If statement is "Y introduced Rs.30,000 and increases it to Rs.40,000", the solution given is appropriate. If statement is "Y introduced Rs.30,000 and increases it by Rs.40,000", your solution is correct. Since the words "to" or "by" are not given, you are fine in anyway to understand it and solve it accordingly. But, please write a note giving your assumption and the answer will be correct.

Ok madam thank you I have a small doubt when we have calculate capital ratio I mean we have to calculate capital ratio in every situation or they we will any specific situation

Mostly, the method will be mentioned in the question. If not, the question contains certain clues based on which you can conclude which method it is.
