a/b = c/d Componendo and Dividendo (a+b)/(a-b) = (c+d)/(c-d) Use the same formula to get the step your underlined

But sir,see the step, isn't that a mistake? (a+2√2)/2√2-2√2 Here it is like, (a+b)/(b-b)
