Rounding Error - within acceptable limit?

Financial Management

answered 2 hrs ago

Q5 in ICAI Material, Cost of Capital The material has computed the total cost to arrive at cost of capital, but I used the default approach; by computing weights. As a result, my answer was 17.32% and 17.53% respectively Is this answer within the tolerable range of values because of the rounding error?

OK sir, thank you!

Bo Rigley, CFA, is a financial analyst examining large-cap equity returns over a calendar year. His sample size is 252 trading days, and he observes a mean return of 0.07% and a standard deviation of 0.12%. With his null hypothesis that the daily portfolio return is equal to zero and a 10% level of significance, Rigley will: A) not reject the null because the test statistic is greater than the critical value. Incorrect Answer B) reject the null because the test statistic is greater than the critical value. Correct Answer C) not reject the null because the test statistic is less than the critical value. i managed to find the test statistics which is 9.27 but how to do find is it one tail test or two tail test ?not just for this question in general how do i find is it one or two tail

Audit risk

Auditing

answered 12 hrs ago

If ROMM ⬆️ leads to detection risk ⬇️ = Audit risk⬇️ If Romm⬇️ leads to Detection Riks ⬆️ = Audit risk⬇️ I understand first case but I'm not able to get the logic of second one

latest answer

If ROMM is less, then we can perform less substantive procedures. Meaning auditor wil keep less sample size, less procedures. So he might not be able to detect material misstatement. So detection risk is high. N overall audit risk goes down
