There had given to find p and the equation is 1:2 If the ratio of the roots are in the p:q Then , pqb^2 = (p+q)^2ac Then 1*2*6^2=(1+2)^2*4*p So p=2 hence proved

But the answer given in suggested answer is 1 which is option A

Ohh ok may be it will be in p/q form It mean: P:q = 1:2 Then,p/q = 1/2 So, p=1 and q=2 so the finally answer is p=1 Option (a) : q
