How control unit is logical hub of computer? Can anyone explain?

The control unit is a component of CPU. It directs and controls the operation of the processor. It tells all other units and devices of the the computer i.e. memory unit, arithmetic unit and logic unit and input and output devices how to respond to the instructions. Since CU is a common connection point for devices in a computer (Hubs are devices commonly used to connect segments) and also because it logically connects all the units and devices such that the operations are carried out as instructed, it is called a logical hub.
