In material pg no 1.72 Illustration 1.11 regarding determination of percentage of employees and their counting in organization. In the flowchart I= count of no. Of employees but i couldn't understand why they mentioned it as ( I= 1 ) and at last how they calculated the percentage of employees as 100/500? How they determined that 100/500?

Question specifically requires answer to be stated in percentages and that's why we multiply it with 100 and divide by total number.
