Does chartered accountant really have future .The main reason to pursue the ca course is to get that respect and salary but Now even an mba guy. CFA guy, investment banker are earning more than a CA .And the respect was not that much you are an accountant that's it . Why i am asking this because all these years of hard work is to ger the CA degree . If any one of you get these type of thought .tell me what's your opinoin

i don't think so. your thoughts are not correct i think CAs are still and forever will be a valuable profession. a CA can do job in multiple departments/ job profile and the respect and income vary depends on it

Salary is a function of the following - Qualification - Communication and soft skills - Analytical and decision making skill - What you bring to the organisation. If you are watching linkedin posts or youtube videos complaining about how less CAs earn, please see the other side where CAs are earning good. Some start with a 18-24 lacs package. There are MBAs who earn 3-4 lacs a year as well. There are some MBAs whom we would not even want to hire. So do not get carried away by these comparisons. There will always be someone above you and someone below you. The only question that matters is whether you are getting what you deserve. Also do not be under an impression that the moment you qualify, there would be someone with a job at hand.
