Cut throat competition is a situation were change in practice of one company impacts it's competitor a lot. For example: If A and B are doing same business in a locality (let's say selling mangoes) If A reduces prices of mangoes by 10% then B also needs to reduce the prices of mangoes. Otherwise he may lose his customers.
