Whats the difference between concentric and cogeneric, & why there is not a concentric merger

In concentric diversification new business is linked to the existing business (it is evolved from existing facilities and processes) In co-generic merger - it relates to merging of two or more organizations which are related to one other in some way or the other There is no concentric merger, as merger happens between two organisations whereas diversification is an expansion strategy which utilises its existing facilities in more effective and efficient manner
