In some questions loss due to vacancy is taken as lower of EXPECTED RENT - ACTUAL RENT vs ACTUAL RENT NOT RECEIVED DURING VACANCY PERIOD But in some question it is directly taken as the rent not received during vacancy period. Which computation is correct?

Both interpretations are correct. Majorly used method is to take directly rent not received during vacancy period.
