While u practice Read the question twice until u understand and mark the important adjustments and see the adjustments when ever the next revision that you do... And It is not possible to do everything day before exams so mark the important adjustments and proceed accordingly 👍

Solving for the first time takes a lot of time for all. With practice, speed will come. Try to focus on both accuracy and speed. Keep practicing and have consistent writing practice. Try to set a time limit for every question and self evaluate your performance. Generally, the time taken for 1 mark should be 1.5 mins. So, just keep practicing and try to improve day by day.
