It was given - Rent received is Rs. 12,000. It means this 12,000 is of only 8 months

Sir if I write a note for this below the answer 12000- 4000 = 8000 Now it treat as 4 months vacancy

But specifically in question it's given 8000 as rent received so it's actual rent and not annual rent, so how can you minus vacancy rent again
