No, they are considered voidable at the option of the party who was misrepresented. Reason because, the consent was not free.

No, they are considered voidable at the option of the party who was misrepresented. Reason because, the consent was not free.

But in some cases we treated contract as valid caused by misrepresentation according to section 19

Yes you are right. General rule - they are voidable. Exception - if party could have discovered the truth with ordinary diligence, then they are valid. Further, if consent was not affected by misrepresentation, then also valid.
