What is the difference between Christmas Card and Trojan?

latest answer

A "Christmas Card virus" would be a specific type of Trojan virus that is disguised as a Christmas card or holiday greeting. A Trojan virus is a type of malware that is designed to look like a legitimate program or file, but once it is installed on a computer, it can perform a variety of malicious actions, such as stealing data, modifying system settings, or allowing remote access to the infected computer.

Blockchain - Limitation of proof of work

Information Systems

answered on 01-May-23 20:38

Hello, As far as I understood blockchain I believe for entering every block into the blockchain someone has to do lot of computations and then the block will be added to the chain and he will be rewarded with some newly mined cypto incase of currencies. 1. As only a limited number of transaction can be fit inside a block, does that mean as more and more people use the blockchain time taken to complete a single transaction increases? 2. What will be the reward for miner who registers/operates smart contracts or other non financial transactions.

latest answer

In non-financial blockchains, block rewards might not be money-based. Instead, validators could earn reputation points or gain access to premium features. They might also receive discounts on transaction fees or be rewarded with utility tokens. These incentives help encourage validators to participate and secure the network.

PRIMARY MEMORY - ROM

Information Systems

answered on 18-Feb-23 14:44

SIR ROM IS GENERALLY LOW CAPASITY OF 4MB-8MB RIGHT? THEN WHY THE MANUFACTURES OF DEVICES WRITE LIKE --> RAM 4GB ROM 64GB IS ROM AND INTERNAL STORAGE ARE SAME, BECAUSE IN COMMON WE SAY THE INTERNAL STORAGE OF THE PHONE IS 64GB ( PHONE COMPANIES CALL IT ROM, LIKE IN THE THE ATTACHED PHOTO ). IF THE ROM CAPASITY IS 4- MB THEN WHAT IS THE DIFFERANCE BETWEEN ROM & INTERNAL STORAGE SIR.

latest answer

the term "ROM" in modern devices refers to the internal storage, which can have a capacity of 4GB to 64GB or more. It is different from the older ROM used in older devices, which had a much lower capacity. RAM is the volatile memory used for temporary storage of data and program code.
