Sir, whether interest from NRE, NRO accounts are taxable for residents. For non residents nre is exempt and nro is taxable but how is the case with residents.

I think NRE account is generally maintained by NRI to park their money in India . Then how the taxability for Residents arises as it's belonging to NRI i donn think it will be taxable in hands of residents

Any interest earned by NRI through NRE accounts is exempted u/s 10 (4).
