In that lecture sir is saying you should not write 12% debentures we have to write debentures

You can write liability for debentures / Debentures. 12% you should not mention, since its not the buying company's debentures.

Your context was not clear yesterday. Only when I went through Illustration 9, i understood your context. For exam - old debentures - do not mention rate for new debentures - mention rate
