With the time you have until June 2024, you possess a powerful asset. Use it wisely. Break down your Economics syllabus into manageable chunks, create a steady study routine, and remain consistent. Seek help when needed, practice regularly, and trust in your ability to conquer this subject.

Page 12.195 Illustration 2 of ICAI study material A Limited issues Rs 1 crore convertible bonds on 1 July 20X1. The bonds have a life of eight years and face value of Rs 10 each. Here my clarification is date of issue is 1st July so any adjustment is required for uncovered period 1 April 20X1 to 30 June 20X1

IT depends on the financial year end. Generally in exams questions are asked considering full year.

In the 4th question, they have given Market price for debentures and preference shares. But they have considered face value as net proceeds instead of taking MP. Why?

Please note this and make it a standard practice: If the question asks to compute Ko based on BV compute based on BVs only.. If the question asks to compute Ko based on MV compute based on MVs only.. And, If the question asks to compute Ko based on both BV & MV.. you will anyway choose the weights of BV for BV computation and the weights of MV for MV computation But, for the computation of specific costs use MVs for both and mention a note in BV computation saying that “Alternatively specific costs may be computed based on BV for which the results might differ”

Pls share the answer of the total borrowings. When I take only fd not overdraft then I get ans 121L. But here they are saying take only extra amount of fd
latest answer
Doesn't matter wether it's backed by fd or not, all loans should be taken the answer is 121 just don't take the bills discounted and don't consider wether the loan is backed by fd
