The distance will be calculated in a straight line on horizontal place. Now its not available in the ques whether straight line on horizontal plane can be measured on water or road, so simple mention the provision and state your assumption to answer.

In this illustration, as per lectures he is considered as deemed resident under sec 6 (1A) as his indian income is greater than 15 lakhs and assuming that he is not liable to tax in any other country.but why can't we check the second basic condition of 60 days or more during PY and 365 days or more during 4 years PPY and declare him as ROR.
