Shares stock market
Corporate & Other Laws
answered on 08-Aug-23 13:26
Dear sir When we buy shares at low price obviously we sell (seller) them wen their prices are high. This is common rule which we follow in stock market. Now how will the other person (buyer) buy these shares wen prices are high (nobody will buy wen the prices are inflated na sir )... Please don't ignore this message as it's silly sir .
latest answer
The seller might see potential in the company and hence want to buy Or the seller might want a strategic control over the company and want to increase the stake hence buy at a higher price.

Please give me an example for "extinguishment of rights"
latest answer
When any company reduces the share capital by way of reducing the face value of shares or by way of paying off part of the share capital, it amounts to extinguishment of the rights of the share holder

answered on 08-Aug-23 15:57
Sir, I have one general doubt As per Sec 36 retention period of books is 72m from the due date of Annual Return. For FY 17-18 due date of annual return is 7th Feb 2020 so they must maintain records of 17-18 from 7th Feb 2020 or 31st dec-17 please give clarity
latest answer
Law specifies 72 months from due date of filing annual return. Accordingly, it should be counted from extended due date only logically.
