Disagreement between Audit Committee and BOD
Auditing
answered on 31-Mar-23 10:43
If there is disagreement between them regarding appointment of auditors, BOD should send this fact to the members for their consideration in AGM. But in ICAI study material, it is stated that board will send its OWN RECOMMENDATION for consideration of the members. Which one is correct?
latest answer
Board can give its own recommendation but it has to give reasons in its report for not accepting committee's recommendation

RCM
Indirect Taxation
answered on 29-Mar-23 21:24
why gst law pay tax under RCM? Because, registered person only can pay gst, obviously that person will pay gst and if no body registered then no one will pay gst so,what is the motive behind to implement RCM?
latest answer
1) To make the certain unregistered person to get registered.(In practical, many registered persons want their suppliers or agents to be registered, so they can pay under forward charge). Example manufacturers. 2) To ease some individual person from registering under gst ( A single person involving small amount of transaction which is not significant amt for govt as well as for other person and also a person working under a company need not be registered as he may think it's a complex work) Example: director.
