Physical verification As on 31st March
Auditing
answered on 10-Nov-25 08:12
Mam, does the standard requires the auditor to check assertion regarding Inventory as on 31st March? Because, during my articlship period, we does the same as on the date of audit which is after of the said date. I mean, if we auditing the client as on 15th June, we report that the stock was checked on 15th June and found to be matching with records. [Video Time Stamp: 05:00]

Sir, 7.75% is the floating rate only right. Then why do we have to recognise the difference in P&L? Instead we have to find IRR right?

Share based payment.
Financial Reporting
answered on 03-Nov-25 15:30
If employees of a subsidiary receive shares of the parent company as part of a group share-based payment arrangement, and the subsidiary reimburses the parent for these shares, is the arrangement classified as equity-settled or cash-settled? What are the accounting entries required in the books of the subsidiary and parent? [Video Time Stamp: 06:27]
latest answer
There is no specific guidance on how to account for repayment in IndAS 102 or IFRS2. Applying general accounting principles, any payment to parent would be considered as adjusment of investment made.

exchange gain/loss
AFM
answered on 01-Nov-25 18:08
sir small doubt, in the above qn we are having a fixed amount 10 million and exchange it for other currencies through 3 currency markets and in the end it results in gain and loss if it is done in the opposite route, which is fine but why the gain and loss value differ even though the exchange rates are same in both the ways, per say if profit thorugh one way is 112969 means the loss through the other way should be also the same na but it is coming 111706 loss when it is done through the other way kinldy explain the logic for the variation sir [Video Time Stamp: 02:51]
latest answer
Yes obviously but gain and loss will not match paise to paise

In the Q.No 21 .SD of individual security, SD of market and correlation( r) also given from this if we find Beta Beta(A)=0.72*(40/20) Which is not matching with data given in question how is this calculation done then
latest answer
Please read question carefully Correlation between 2 stocks is given and not correlation between a stock and market This correlation can only be used to find out co variance between stock - that co variance is to be used for portfolio variance
