Costing
answered on 26-Feb-23 04:06
Sir, In your above mentioned video, sir says that SALES INCENATIVE as indirect expense . But at the same time we can corelate this expense with the number of chairs we sold. If we sale less number of chares , we have to pay less amount of incentives. As it is directly related with the product ,then why can not we consider it as DIRECT EXPENSE. Please guide me sir.

Are asset-backed securities that are backed by physical assets considered financial assets under IND AS 32? How are these asset-backed securities classified and accounted for, and what criteria are used to determine their classification? Can you give an example of how physical assets can be used to back asset-backed securities, and how this impacts their treatment under IND AS 32?
latest answer
the underlying assets would be accounted as per the respective standards.

IND AS 36 - Query on Goodwill
Financial Reporting
answered on 26-Feb-23 15:01
Hi sir Can you explain the logic behind why we are allocating Impairment loss first to goodwill And why reversal is prohibited for goodwill???
latest answer
Internally generated goodwill cannot be recognised. In same way increase in value of goodwill cannot be recognised due to measurement issues. IMpairment first to goodwill because that is an asset which has not been amortised. For other assets there is a possibility to estimate recoverable amount in a better way.
