Subsidiary company
Corporate & Other Laws
answered on 24-Sep-22 18:03
A subsidiary company cannot hold holding comapny shares except in 3 cases 1) held as trustee 2) held as legal representative 3) held before becoming subsidiary So my doubt is that for eg. A ltd holds 50% shares in B ltd and B ltd holds 50% in A ltd . So both of them are not subsidiary as holding is NOT MORE THAN 50% . A ltd now acquires 1% more holding In B ltd and B ltd gets 1% holding as legal representative So In This Case Who is Subsidiary and who is Holding Company

Can anyone please explain why when stratification is appropriate then sample size will decrease. (Topic:Factors affecting sample size in case of test of details).
latest answer
If you stratify the population - divided the population in smaller groups, you can reduce the sample size as the characteristics of small groups would be similar.
