Yes, you can use creditors account to get balance of bills payable but in the above question, we are finding credit purchases as the balance of bills payable is already given in the question

Yea the commission amount seems fine however in the WN you shouldn't have taken 25% of sales because thats not whats given. the question say 25 per unit sold so you should have taken 900x25, which luckily in this instance is the same as 25% of sales .

Answer is Rs. 180000 as per sec 32(2) of the act in which brought forward unabsorbed depreciation is allowed as a deduction. First brought forward business loss is to be notionally allowed first, therefore 270000-200000-50000(to extent of profit balance left)=0 now add back b/f loss 0+200000=200000. Now Rs. 200000 is the book profit and 90% of it is Rs.180000

Option A Since he can avail deduction in AY 20-21 and get LTCG of 3.5 L However he's selling the new house, So the deduction amount of 5 Lakhs gets added to capital gain and he gets STCG of 14 Lakhs
