This asset was acquired for Rs. 120 lakhs as on 01-04-2016 and the same was used from that date. The company has been following the policy of amortization of the intangible assets over a period of 15 years, on straight line basis. You are required to comment on the accounting treatment of asset with reference to AS 26 'Intangible Assets' and also give the necessary rectification journal entry in the books.

doubt regarding costing paper

I had my ca inter exams last may and I got 58 in costing but overall I failed....kept costing valuation and they sent me the paper which had only 50 marks...now i'm confused...is my marks 50 or 58?

ICAI VALUATION - CA INTER.

Actually I got papers through RTI act recently. I had applied for revaluation also and they told that there are no changes in marks. But for this question I wrote answer which is similar in my ICAI material but ICAI gave me 0 out of 4 marks( not even half marks) can anyone please help me in this? This is not the only question. I have many questions in this similar type.

Residential status as per Income Tax act 1961 section 6, Resident ordinary resident for individuals 1.He or she stay in previous year 182 days or more 2. He or she stay in immediately preceding previous year of 4 ( 1 year should be stay 365 days) and also relevant previous year 60 days should be stay.. In above criteria if one condition is satisfied means is a residential My question is 365 days out of 4 years okay but 60 days means relevant previous year means year what the assessment year telling???
