Is Primary market like a stock market?
latest answer
In the primary market, companies sell new stocks and bonds to the public for the first time, such as with an initial public offering (IPO). The secondary market is basically the stock market and refers to the New York Stock Exchange, the Nasdaq, and other exchanges worldwide.

Power of Ltd company to alter its share capital
Corporate & Other Laws
answered on 26-Aug-22 10:03
As per provision of sec 61(2)i.ecancellation of shares shall not be deemed to be a reduction of shares. Why? What is the logic behind it?
latest answer
Here Sec61(2) refers to cancellation of unsubscribed shares , as the shares are already unsubscribed canceling these wont reduce the share capital.

Eoq
Costing
answered on 26-Aug-22 07:31
What is EOQ in simple terms with any understanding examples pls
latest answer
for example annual demand of a company-8000 units, ordering cost -200 per order, carrying cost -20%, selling price per unit- 400 for this we apply the eoq formula we need to order 200 units. in this we incurs total cost of RS.3216000. If we dont want to apply eoq we want order 4000 units. we incurs Rs.3360400. By applying EOQ in incurs minimum cost.

Remedy to dissenting share holders.
Corporate & Other Laws
answered on 27-Aug-22 16:19
Here mam said first 10% of total share capital. In example it is said that 10% of dessented shareholders. Which is correct? It may be possible even 3 people may hold 10% of share capital. Suppose after special resolution the remaining 25% people may be 250 out of 1000 share holders voting. Then 10% of 250 is 25 where appeal is possible. Even 3 people with 10% total capital is also possible but they are contradictory to each other.
latest answer
yes. 10% or more of the ISSUED SHARES OF THAT CLASS OF SHARES. Please note: these shareholders who are appealing to NCLT... they are the one who are dissenting to the variation of rights. Anyone who agrees to variation of rights will not participate in such an appeal.
