I have a doubt regarding equity oriented mutual funds.. When a person has capital gain arising from equity oriented mutual funds where STT is not paid in which section it will come it is a( long term capital asset) Whether it comes under Sec 112 of ITAct And For this transaction is there chance to be not paying STT during transfer or is it compulsory to pay STT.

Can anyone please explain it....why total tax amount i.e, 26000 treated as preferential payment...i mean tax amount within 12months treated as preferential creditor right...here they taken 2 year's tax

If deductor being any person and makes any payment to non resident should deduct tds u/s 195. Can you suggest an senerio where deductor being Non resident makes payment to non resident subject to tds under this section
