TDS:- Payment by e-com. Operator to e-com. Participant

Direct Taxation

answered on 04-Apr-22 12:26

Please explain what does this mean

latest answer

If e commerce participant has more than Rs.5 lakhs turnover by selling on portal, submitted PAN / Aadhar - then ecommerce operator deducts tax u/s 194O @ 1% If e commerce participant has less than or equal to Rs.5 lakhs turnover by selling on portal, submitted PAN / Aadhar - then ecommerce operator will not deduct TDS u/s 194O And no other TDS will be deducted from participant for such amounts under any other section under Income Tax for those sales of goods or services made on portal But if the same participants just advertises his product on the same operator's portal, then TDS will not be deducted u/s 194O but under other relevant TDS section of income tax act

NPO interest on deposit

Accountancy

answered on 02-Apr-22 12:10

So here we get an interest on deposit of 2000 for 1 year which is actually deposited as 20000 in end of last year(31/3/19) So after we gain interest in current year i.e.,2000 we will credit it to income and exp account and shouldn't we add this to deposit and show in balance sheet as 22000?

latest answer

Interest is already received
