Doubt with respect to the calculation of estimated profit 1. In case of plant used why the closing plant value is not deducted ie why not 2500-2875-7750 2. For the material consumed why not closing value of material is not deducted ?

Take p&L account of the year as a base and using that as the base, we have to calculate the revised cost. Because of P&L, all the direct charges on the particular charge does not change. We have to calculate absorbing overheads on the basis of data they have given in the P&L.
