sir, what if we calculate the non-stay in India first and then subtract it to the whole 365 days in a year? so that we get the same as the person's number of days he/she stays in India? [Video Time Stamp: 08:20]

answered on 07-Aug-25 14:54

Dear Sir, If I clear my CA inter exams in Jan 26 and results will come around March 5th, if I join articleship from 6th March, Then my articleship will get over on 6 th March 2028, But because of 6 months study period I won't be eligible to write finals in September 2028....my attempt will get deffer to Jan 29 even though my articleship finished at 6th March 2028 So my query is can I have the option to start provisional articleship registration right after my Jan 26 Ca inter exams.....so that I can save my 6 months and can attend in sept 28 Is this possible Please clarify.

CONDITIONS OF EOQ

Costing

answered on 07-Aug-25 15:29

Good Morining sir, I have a doubt regarding the EOQ condition. Economic Order Quantity is achieved technically when the ORDERING COST = CARRYING COST. but in the illustration 22, when we are calculating Total inventory cost @ EOQ,,, the condition is not satisfied. please explain this sir. TIME STAMP : 16:22 / 29:11 where carrying cost = 4,522 and Ordering cost = 4,600. why so? [Video Time Stamp: 272:01:03]

latest answer

Though mathematically they should come equal, there could be differences due to rounding off and also the order size cannot be same as EOQ.

Sir in this question I've few doubts, please clarify it. 1)in (i) in case of calculation of Sundry debtors, how 6000 units came, and why do they calculate at cost instead of selling price??(In the question they didn't mention the value at cost price right, then why are they valued at cost?) 2)in (ii) part, I don't understand the calculation of the number of units sold, how opening and closing stock are considered?? And the same they don't consider in the first part, why do they consider it now??
