Hi, Does TDS applicable if more than one contract exists between the same contractor and contractee exceeds Rs 100000 in a financial year? For Eg: Mr. A enters into two contracts with Mr. B. 1. 100000 on 20/05/2019 2. 45000 on 12/08/2019 if each payment is less than 30000, does TDS applicable for the FY 2019-20?
latest answer
Limit is applicable for entire financial year. Aggregate all the payments during the financial year from a contractor and deduct tax accordingly

What's the difference between cloud computing and web 3.0?? I felt both r bit similar.
latest answer
Web 3.0 is a concept. For example how we say 80s kids had no phones and 90s kids had no internet, web 2.0 refers to a point in time where one could do limited things with internet. In Web 3.0 people can transfer Assets, buy properties in Meta verse etc. In future there will be Web 4.0, 5.0 and so on.

Doctrine of Ultra Vires
Corporate & Other Laws
answered on 11-Mar-22 12:20
"The purpose of doctrine of ultra vires has been defeated as now the object clause can be easily altered , by just passing a special resolution by the shareholders" . Kindly explain this statement. So if the act is Ultra Vires of MOA it is voidable or void ?
latest answer
This statement emphasises on the fact that since the object clause of the company can be altered by passing a special resolution, the purpose of the Doctrine of Ultra Vires can be defeated in certain situations, where the object clause is altered and the acts which were previously not a part of the clause are included in it making them within the scope. If an act is Ultra Vires MOA it is Null and Void.
