Total takings = Standing Charges + Running cost + Commission + maintenance cost + Profit Consider the total takings as X So Standing charges = 15,66,000 (Salary, dep, tax, insurance, rent, stationery) Diesel / Oil = 3,60,000 (computed ) Commission for driver = 10% of X Maintenance cost (repairs) = 2,04,000 (given) Profit = 15% of X Now substitute the values in the total takings formula
