That means if person authorising issue of prospectus that contains mis-statement actually believed that misstatement was true based on facts, documents and circumstances, he might be exempted from criminal liability if he proves that. Say, company misstated losses as profits in prospectus. In that case, we can't say director had reasonable ground to believe that they company was earning profits as he would have access to company records, financials etc.

Check it after some time. Even if you face the same issue, you can the toll free numbers of ICAI Exam, 0120-3054 851, 3054 852 , 3054 853, 3054 835, 4953751, 4953752, 4953753, 4953754. And rectify your problem.

80D is in respect of health insurance premium Proviso of Section 80DDA explains as follows. Provided further that the deduction under this section shall be reduced by the amount received, if any, under an insurance from an insurer, or reimbursed by an employer, for the medical treatment of the person. So, if assessee receives any insurance, that amount has to be reduced from the amount of deduction and take the balance under Section 80DDA

Doubt 1) please check whether the hidden goodwill para is correct or not? Because according to the data given the capital of the firm ( A+B+C ) is 53,000. Doubt 2) in the example 2, they have given 1,20,000 as goodwill, then why it is accounted for only 40,000.

Why the net proceeds value is taken as market value even though the question specifically specifies that the debentures are issued at par....Is it bczz of the reason that the company wants to know the current cost of its existing debt

What is mean by " remuneration from alternative employment of the proprietor " mentioned here and we are not account for it in the profit and loss account but accounting here?

These are implicit costs or opportunity cost. Or you can consider fair share of remuneration that you would have paid to the prop.
