Restraint of marriage
Corporate & Other Laws

As per the provision Agreement in restraint of marriage of any person other than minor is void But an agreement with minor is void ab initio which conflicts with the provision of restraint of marriage of minor
latest answer
With means - you are entering into a contract with the person. A minor cannot enter into a contract and hence void. of minor means - we / the parties, are restraining the marriage of the minor.

Sir at the end of the video For accounting of Associate for first 6 months, we shd have considered first 6 months profit right 1.5L, but you consider post acquisition profit 1.49L after adjusting unrealised profit, and savings in depreciation I did not understand why,
latest answer
Yes you are right. Error in flow. However, the solution given by ICAI should be considered for exams which I have already discussed in the video. You can ignore the accounting for associate part for exams.

Clarification required with respect to Dividend computation (Ills 18 vs Ills 19)
AFM
answered on 24-Jun-25 17:02
In Illustration 18, Dividend = Spot × Yield Rate × 50% of Investment = 13,800 × 50% of investment x 4.8% = 331.20 In Illustration 19, Dividend = Spot × Yield Rate × t = 1,195 × 3% × (91/365) = 8.9379 Sir, could you please clarify when we should include the time factor “t” while computing dividends? [Video Time Stamp: 04:48]
latest answer
In Q 18 please read carefully - Q says 50% of stocks will pay dividdend so they will pay full dividend and not half dividend. hence we took 50% of investment x full div yield of 4.8% In Q 19 we did same thing but in as as we have been provided exact dates so we did 3% x 91/365 Depends on question whether you use days or month or year convention but whatever you do time has to definitely be accounted for

Pls say whether im on the right track bid price is the maximum price the dealer may pay for a share and ask is the minimum price the dealer is ready to sell and is it true as a retailers cant buy or sell @ Bid/ask price so let's say RIL bid is 99.8 and ask is 100 If I place an order I can only buy it at 100?at ask price ? So that means im always buying shares from dealers not from other retailers?pls explain how it works And finally what's the role of market price here how is it different from bid/ask prices
