Can CA student write CA(bar) after his/her name who is doing articleship? Legally correct?

No. Sections 7 and 24 of the Chartered Accountants Act 1949 allows a member (of the ICAI) only to use the designation of CA along with his/her name.

Costing

answered on 12-Jun-21 07:00

why fixed cost is period cost in marginal costing but in absorption costing fixed cost is product cost

latest answer

Marginal costing - fixed overheads are charged in total to the profit and loss account. Contribution is a pool of amount from which total fixed costs will be deducted to arrive at the profit or loss. Absorption costing - fixed overheads are absorbed and included in the valuation of inventories which are carried forward (thereby reducing cost of sales) to the next accounting period instead of being written off in the current accounting period (as a period cost, as in marginal costing).

Rs. 1,26,000 is the loss of reconstruction. So, that amount is debited to general reserve and credited to reconstruction account.
