The solution suggested by Aakash is for identical balls. For different balls you to use selection/ combination approach.

Are companies are prohibited from issuing dividend out of Security premium, Capital reserve, CRR, DRR, etc.. In notes it is mentioned only free reserve can be issued as dividend, then what are free reserves.??

Yes, they are prohibited from using the ones you mentioned. Free reserves are defined in Sec 2(43) and is a general defintion which says reserves which are freely available for distribution as dividend. And definition mentions which are specifically excluded. So, simply, the ones which do not have any specific purpose like General Reserves can be called Free Reserves. You may also consider watching the video on defintion of Free Reserves in Video titled Definitions Part III* in Module - Preliminary.

while watching gst lectures.... if i pick a particular module to watch......it is taking me to the last section of every chapter module......which is the pdf material....and while trying to pick a module and watch.....the video is playing automatically without actually me clicking on the play button.....this is not a big issue....but irritating......hope you resolve this issue

What does it actually mean? Why are the terms such as account balances and classes of transactions used instead of Balance sheet items and Profit & Loss items?

Assertion means a characteristic that need to be tested to ensure financial records and disclosures are correct. Transactions includes sales, purchases etc. Account balances includes assets and liabilities etc.

If principal is taxable person then agent has to take compulsory registration What if principal is non taxable person? Is agent still required to take registration?

Ideally, agent has to register when principal is registered i.e. principal is taxable person and supply is taxable. IF its not taxable supply or if principal is not taxable person then agent need not register under this provision....... But Taxable person is defined under Section 2(107) - It means any person registered or liable to be registered............ so if principal is liable to be registered but has not registered, that doesnt mean agent will not register....... If Principal is liable to register (whether actually registered or not) then Agent has to register
