Regarding suggestions

Provide some hardcopy r software for last minute revision chart. It is easy to revise in last minutes

latest answer

We will definitely consider it but we suggest the following to the students. When they watch our course, they should have our notes beside them and then make running notes in their own handwriting in a separate book or piece of paper. These shorts notes could have text, sub-points, formulae charts/tables, etc. Believe us when we say that such short notes written by you in your own handwriting are better for your revision than any faculty's notes - including ours. Writing once is like reading 10 times. and when you revise from such notes, you will recollect the full topic

Standard Costing ( Fixed Overheads )

Costing

answered on 24-May-21 09:28

In standard costing we are taking High amt of working days than expected Sir and calling it as favourable variance Like in case of fixed OH calendar variance = ( actual working days - budgeted working days ) *FoHRR per day If actual days taken is more how can we call it as favourable sir.

latest answer

It is that portion of the volume variance which is due to the difference between the number of working days in the budget period and the number of actual working days in the period to which the budget is applicable. If the actual working days are more than the standard working days, the variance will be favourable and vice versa if the actual working days are less than the standard days.

How The interest of outsiders is not affected if there is no reduction in shareholders fund

latest answer

At the time of winding up, outsiders are paid first out of the asset proceeds. It's only then the remaining amount is distributed to shareholders. Example, at the lime of lending, outsider saw, okay this company has 10 lakh of assets and 5 lakh of equity and 5 lakh of preference share capital, so I will lend 3 lakh, as even if losses are made, I will get the amount as there is sufficient buffer. Now if say preference shares are redeemed, pool of funds gets reduced, security cover for lender will also fall.
