Standard forms.of contract

Standard forms of contracts are the ones which have a pre-prepared standard template and are widely used in real life. For example, insurance contracts, or say airline / railway tickets etc. They would generally include certain terms and conditions and have provisions w.r.t. liability. The attached photos relates to these contracts and says that these contracts are enforceable, even when say the party is not aware of the content of such stand template in detail. However, before enforcing there should have been a notice which depending on specific cases is reasonable. Say flight carrier gives a notice that one cannot carry certain items in its hand-baggage. This was mentioned in the pre-prepared template. Arjit however did not focus much on it and accepted the contract (i,.e. paid money etc.). Now when Arjit wants to carry such prohibited material, flight carrier can enforce the contract - they can say this is not allowed as per contract and its enforceable. Now say the document printed and delivered to Arjit did not on the face of it, include a notice that it contains certain special conditions like these. In that case, Arjit would not be bound by it. As for the case law relating to a transporter given in the attached photo, please refer our video at serial 19 under 'Nature of Contract'
