Deprication method - an accounting policy, but why not the change?

"The auditor should obtain a clear understanding of accounting policy adopted by the entity regarding depreciation and amortization" It is clear from the above statement that the method of Depriciation selected by the entity is a part of accounting policy adopted by the entity. My Q is, if entity decides to change its deprication method, how come it change in estimate and not a change in policy?

Sir, The SA 230 says , internal auditor is not duty bound to give the documents to the external auditor. But in SA 210 , the engagement letters includes that the management should give access to all the persons within the entity in order to obtain audit evidence. Please clarify me sir.

Some times internal auditor may not be within the entity. Also It is ultimately the responsibility of management to get docs to the external auditor.

Sir, in this question of rtp may20 , the loss for the year is 40 lakhs and in (iii) of the rule 3 says the amount of the losses should be set off rite . Therefore out 2 crore withdrawn 4o lakhs is set off and balance only 1.6 crore is there to pay dividend . But the company proposes only 2 crore,so therefore (iii) is not satisfied rite . That means company cannot declare 2 crore as dividend rite ? Plzz can u check this ?

It states that auditor shall report "whether all transactions with the related parties are in compliance with sections 177 and 188 of Companies Act 2013" Sir, my question is what relation does Related party have to do with "Audit Committee" sec 177?
